Day #12 in the Pink-Ralph Lauren Polo

My son let me wear his PINK Polo today!  No, this isn’t him, but I thought I”d have some fun with this!  He told me yesterday that I could borrow his pink polo if I wanted!  Gotta love it!!  Jeans and a polo today.  I’m working on presentations for the next few weeks and getting read for STYLE CAMP

School children around here they have the day off for Columbus Day!  There are sales to be found so make sure you shop smart!  No, I’m not shopping for more PINK!

I am so excited because today I’m going to share with you a secret!

I was reading in a book this weekend about hairstyles trying to find a new one to update my look.  Did you kow that all hairstyles are based off of  just 4 basic hiarcuts?

I was shocked, but it is true and even though styles and fashions change, they all are just a variation of 4 simple cuts.  Wanna know what they are?

  1. One-length bob (hair is cut all one length-variations are a graduated bob and layered bob)
  2. Uniform layer (hair is cut into short, even-length layers that follow the shape of the head-variations are pixie and longer layers shaped around evenly around the head
  3. Short graduation (fullest part of the hair is at the temple and shaped tot he nape of the head-variations are wedge and layered wedge that looks like the “soccer cut”)
  4. Long layers (Long hairstyle where shortest layer is at the nape of the neck-”friends” cut) (From the book: Color Me Younger w/ColourmeBeautiful)

It all makes sense, so why do we have such a hard time trying to figure out how to cut our hair???
